In most affected families (of spike protein induced illnesses) only one side of the family is affected by Long Covid or Post-Vac. The Stedfasts whilst being blessed with 5 children, of which they took 3 with them on a journey half around the world – New Zealand to Cyprus, were unlucky enough to both be affected severely. But thanks god the tides turned once they arrived in Cyprus. Krisztina Koncsek, Hongrie, Post Vac et Long Covid
3 semaines après sa vaccination, Krisztina a eu une syncope pendant une séance de tennis. Il n'y a pas eu de traumatisme cardiaque aigu, mais après plusieurs examens, une cardiomyopathie a été diagnostiquée. Après avoir semblé se rétablir en partie, elle a développé un POTS, de la fatigue et de légers symptômes gastro-intestinaux.
Après deux infections au Covid, sa situation s'est aggravée avec une fatigue sévère et un POTS sévère, ses problèmes d'histamine ont commencé et l'apparition d'engourdissements et de maux de tête a fait son apparition.
En octobre 2023, elle s'est retrouvée alitée d'un jour à l'autre, avec une très grande fatigue, des insomnies, des douleurs gastro-intestinales, des douleurs à l'estomac, des symptômes semblables à ceux de la neuropathie et des sensations d'inflammation. Ses médecins traitants ont déclaré qu'il s'agissait d'un problème psychologique, car tous ses examens de laboratoire se sont révélés corrects.
When she arrived the last week of May at the Apheresis Center, she had 35 (!) severe symptoms. Today, beginning of July there are almost no symptoms left, with moderate MCAS being the main symptom to work on. During the video she surprised Markus – she is moving to Cyprus in October – being sunlight-tolerant again after treatment will definitely help there!

Despite her not having a long period of stay at our clinic – it is hard to leave two little kids for long with the grandparents – and ‘only’ 4 Help Apheresis sessions, she regained her ability to walk! Other symptoms improved or vanished.

Liz Jelley, 15 ans, Long Covid, Écosse
Liz (Elizabeth ou aussi appelée Lizzie) Jelley est bien connue des personnes atteintes de la maladie de Long Covid. Elle a milité pour les enfants atteints de cette maladie et a même participé à la rédaction d'une lettre de réfutation adressée au Premier ministre britannique au sujet de cette maladie. Elle a fait de nombreuses apparitions dans la presse et à la télévision. Ce que beaucoup ignorent, c'est que sa mère a souffert d'un MECFS "léger" pendant des années, mais qu'elle a également été touchée par le Long Covid.

Mais après que ses symptômes soient devenus de plus en plus difficiles à supporter (son Long Covid a commencé à montrer un POTS, de la fatigue, un brouillard cérébral, de l'insomnie et de l'anxiété et s'est terminé par des secousses musculaires pouvant durer jusqu'à 10 heures, une incapacité à se concentrer ou à faire ses devoirs et un manque d'émotions), sa mère l'a emmenée dans notre clinique à Chypre pour un traitement avec une thérapie combinée et H.E.L.P. Despite her way not being easy – she needed a catheter, her small body was not always willing to establish a good blood flow with the machine and the amount of treatable plasma was sometimes lower than desired – after 7 H.E.L.P. Jenni, her husband and her little two kids came to Cyprus for a month, because her Post Vaccine Injury had become so unbearable she had to take action. Her symptom list was long, just like most patients’:

Enfants et adolescents de Long Covid : Zac Sobey (13) et son père Ryan, Long Covid, Australie
13-year-old Zac Sobey from Australia went from being carried to the beach – because he could no longer walk – to surfing in a matter of weeks after having been treated at our clinic. His father, Ryan Sobey, originally from South Africa is a scientist with background in genetics and biochemistry. This helped him identify Help Apheresis as a treatment for his son’s Long Covid.

Maria Endrodi, Syndrome post-vaculaire / Long Covid, Hongrie
Maria et Tamas, un charmant couple de Hongrois ayant des racines aux États-Unis et en Italie, sont arrivés sur notre île au début du mois de septembre et, avant même que nous nous en rendions compte, ils ont couvert notre équipe de gâteaux sucrés et d'amour. Lorsque Maria est arrivée, son niveau d'anxiété était à peine supportable, elle souffrait d'une grande faiblesse musculaire, de problèmes respiratoires, d'un brouillard cérébral, d'une fatigue constante, d'un malaise après l'effort, d'insomnie, d'un dérèglement de la température, de neuropathie et d'autres problèmes auto-immuns. Ses symptômes ont commencé il y a plus de deux ans après la première vaccination, mais se sont gravement aggravés après une infection par Covid. Après avoir retiré plusieurs gros agrégats de caillots des veines de son bras, un cathéter a été placé pour pouvoir effectuer les traitements d'aphérèse Help malgré l'hypercoagulation sévère. Après cinq semaines de thérapie combinée comprenant six aphérèses, des anticoagulants, des antiviraux et diverses perfusions, elle s'est rétablie et est aujourd'hui proche de son état antérieur. Le plus beau, ce n'est pas seulement de voir ses symptômes débilitants disparaître un par un, mais aussi de voir l'anxiété s'estomper semaine après semaine. ‘I arrived here practically in a wheelchair, I had not been well for a very long time. I did all of my own research before I left Australia and Help Apheresis seemed to have the answers to help fix me. From the minute you walk into the clinic, the staff could not be more friendly. They seem to have blended the German efficiency and the Cypriot hospitality. It is such a warm environment to be treated, the staff is incredible, they put me so much at ease with their kindness. The treatment itself is not that invasive, especially if you have the catheter because it means you can have your hands free and read et cetera. Now after treatment Nr. 4 I feel fantastic, but I still have to finish the course of 6 treatments because the filters are still coming out blocked. Overall I can’t thank the clinic enough, the treatment has been fantastic. Overall it has been a fantastic experience, I could not recommend it highly enough. When I realized there is a clinic in Cyprus, the fact that it is a beautiful island made the choice of me and my wife easy. It is a great place to recover and heal by the sea. My advice to other patients is to do your own research, work out if you have micro-clotting which is easy to understand if you follow the symptoms. And then do what it takes to get this treatment to get your life back.’

Long Covid Kids&Teenagers : Lycke Ostby Paulsen (13), Long Covid, Norvège
Lycke didn’t want to travel to Cyprus, but her parents managed to get her to us with a compromise between holiday and treatment. Her severe Long Covid symptoms (Fatigue, POTS, PEM, Insomnia, Light&Sound&Movement Sensitivity, Anxiety, Dizziness, Skin Rashes, Nerve Pain, Muscle & Rheumatic Issues etc.) improved so significantly she is now back to school 3 days a week and out of the wheelchair, walking around with her friends in school. She also started singing again for the first time in 1.5 years – her mood is back, her anxiety gone and Lycke is a normal teenager again!
Her mother Laila talks with our co-founder Markus about their journey to Cyprus and the ups and downs along their daughter’s recovery. Lycke loved Cyprus so much, she did not want to go back home at the end.

Verena Hunger, Syndrome Post Vac, Autriche
Verena had already tried every possible treatment when she came to our clinic, she even tried Immunoadsorption before and it helped her with the neurological symptoms she was having, but it didn’t help with the fatigue. Unfortunately, three months after her Immunoadsorption, she got worse again as it’s effect was temporary.

‘I had 4 Help Apheresis treatments last year in Germany. They brought me back to 80% of my former capacity. Unfortunately I reinfected with Covid again after and as I did not have Early Treatment packages back then, my Long Covid came back with even more symptoms.
I decided to go for Combination Therapy with Help Apheresis at the Apheresis Center in Cyprus. I was put on the clinics’ MCAS protocol a few weeks prior to my arrival and I arrived with my MCAS being much better already. Now I am receiving Help Apheresis, IV treatments and medication protocols since three weeks and my symptoms are mostly gone already, I could even have a beer yesterday for the first time again and enjoy the beach, no more pain and anxiety!
The Apheresis Center is a totally different experience and I am super happy I chose Cyprus. It is very different from Germany. The doctors, nurses and the whole team are doing everything to bring me back to my full capacity, their knowledge about Long Covid and the individually adapted treatment is great – a real concierge medicine experience! I missed home last year in Germany – here in Cyprus not a single day, we even extended our stay and will come back next year for holidays!’

Stephanie Hadjiioannou, Long Covid, Grèce
Stephanie suffered from severe Long Covid. Extreme fatigue and loosing her ability to speak were the most present symptoms, but the list of symptoms was long: Noise and movement sensitivity, dizziness, PEM, cognitive dysfunction/brainfog, memory loss, POTS, headaches, muscle pain and depression. After 6 weeks of treatment with Apheresis, Hyperthermia, IVs, Nutraceuticals and Peptides she was symptom free. It was remarkable to see he getting her ability to speak back so quickly. I rested a lot and had the next three sessions over the next two weeks without any problems. After my fourth treatment I could really see that my eyes were clear white for the first time in ages. Simply request her/his USI – Unique Social Identifier!
In Social Media and Forums Spam and Fake-Posts are a common problem. A great way to identify if you are speaking to a real current or former patient of the Apheresis Center is to request their USI – Unique Social Identifier.
How does a USI (Unique Social Identifier) work? Every Apheresis Center patient can request his/her USI. A USI is a 5 digit code (e.g. 3R7TZ) that is connected to one enquiry from one social account and is valid for a single indentification process only (72 hours), whilst fulfilling all data protection regulations.
Comment cela fonctionne-t-il ?
- Vous parlez à quelqu'un en ligne mais vous n'êtes pas sûr qu'il s'agisse d'une personne ou d'un patient réel.
- Envoyez-leur une demande d'USI avec le compte de média social que vous utilisez pour communiquer avec eux.
- Ils demanderont ensuite au centre d'aphérèse une CIU à usage unique (valable 72 heures).
- Vous pouvez la vérifier (voir ci-dessous) et voir s'il s'agit bien d'une USI valide (vous parlez à un vrai patient/une vraie personne) ou non (fausse/spam).
